Ok, married folks............in-law ques.?

Ok My mom lives about 3 hrs away and last time my husband and I saw her was in Feb. She and her husband have done ALOT for us and My husband wants to go to this kids bday party of his friend and her husband. cuzz he said its been a while since he hung out w/ them. I was invited too of course but is there anything wrong w/ this pic? He told me to give my mom his love. What The??
