Bought something at a yard sale that had roaches in it HELP!!?

I bought a twin bed at a yard sale. I must admit that I did not check it before bring it into my house, bad move! It was filled with roaches. Bought it on Friday afternoon. it sat in my living room until today (Sunday) When I went to put it up I noticed a bug run out. Ewww So I immediately took it outside on my porch. It is raining now. But what is the possibility that I will have a infestation now? What do I do? I have three small kids and I sprayed raid on the couch it was near. Please help I have a real fear of these bugs! I am scared that now I will have a problem that will give me endless sleepless nights with a can of Raid. Is this what I have to look forward to?
