Which sociological perspective is cannibalism? symbolic, functionalism or conflict?

Never heard of Symbolic... It wouldn't be functionalism because it takes out members of their own society. It wouldn't be conflict because it has nothing to do with social cles. I know of the interactionist perspective but that doesn't fit here either. Perhaps cannibalism is an act deemed too savage to fit into a properly formed society....
